Together on a Mission, Zambia 2011

zambianf2011

. . . or as Joseph Mwila redefined it "On a Mission.....TOGETHER was another significant step forward on the journey of changing the expression of Christianity in Zambia. Prophetically Gary Welsh termed it the planting of a flag in Zambia that despite hardships claimed the advance of the Kingdom in Zambia. The conference commenced with a general gathering on the Friday evening at Dayspring Centre, Kitwe, in "The Thatch" an extraordinary church building.

General times of worship, preaching and seminars followed in quick succession throughout Saturday and Sunday. Such was the enthusiasm that gatherings merged and timetables got forgotten about. Main sessions were led by Joseph Mwila, Gary Welsh, Steve Alliston, Casey Kalaso and Rob Coleman. While training track style seminars were led by Steve Alliston (Youth), Rob Coleman (Men) and a combination of Cas Alliston and Helen Coleman (Women)

Good News!

Dayspring Ministries has obtained funding of approaching UK£40,000 to set up a large-scale commercial chicken farm  with 4,000 chickens!!! The money will pay for all the initial costs such as sheds, road improvements, workers houses etc as well as the first batch of chicks. This has the potential to earn a large regular income that will be channelled into the church and the various projects under the Streetlife banner. Do pray for protection, wisdom and good management, as this project begins. Infrastructure set up alone may take as long as six months. Operations will probably not start until next year..
