Dayspring Ministries International

There are a growing number of churches in Zambia under the direction of Dr Joseph Mwila. Dayspring Churches are members of the New Frontiers International Family of Churches. 

Joseph Mwila began Dayspring Ministries in 2002 and with the help of his wife Lillian and the abundant blessing of God has grown this ministry to encompass 8 churches within the Copperbelt province in Zambia.

Originally trained as a chemical engineer Joseph felt called back to Zambia in 1996, initially he worked within a large church organisation in Lusaka before feeling called back to Kitwe, where he grew up, to establish Dayspring Church, the original church plant which now operates as his base whilst serving all the churches in his immediate sphere of influence. 

Whilst busy planting churches, Lillian has been busy too establishing a number of ministries to the poor as well as looking after the family, they have 3 boys and 1 girl. God has equally blessed Lillian in her endeavours so that today there are two established orphanages and two feeding programmes ministering into the compounds of Kitwe.

Joseph would also dearly love to establish a farm on land gifted to the churches in order to provide for the financial needs of his increasingly influencial ministry from the profits resulting from chicken farming. He is mindful that it is not wise to depend on overseas assistance that could be withdrawn at any point in time and would therefore like to become more self sufficient.
